SUFC: The Future SUFC up for sale

It's great that he has publicly agreed to sell and he has hired people to find a buyer that have real credentials.

What we don't know is how the sale will be structured. If its a case of buying the club but Ron gets his property and the new owner(s) get the stadium when (if) its built. Then that makes us a very decent proposition.

If he is expecting someone to pay 10 million plus and rent a stadium, then he will find it very hard to find a buyer other than a billionaire. 10 million would be pocket change to them.

The devil is in the detail, which we have very little at this point in time.

With a that in mind. I say we still refrain from buying season cards and also keep protesting.

And this vague wish list of a statement was worth calling a press conference for? There is nothing in it of any substance just the usual waffle. What exactly would a buyer be getting? New investment? On what basis? Only a delusional narcissist would come up with blather like this just to get fans off his back. Meanwhile back in the real world there are bills to pay, staff wages at the end of the month and a management team experiencing a dip in form just when some fresh faces would have helped, but made impossible by the embargo brought about by financial mismanagement.

Not sure how to take this, yes now we will see if any interested parties are genuinely out there, and Ron can now also say I'm not putting anymore into the club, so what will happen with wages etc.. again until someone buys?? To me this doesn't sound like it's close to being sold/investment

So it sounds like he is keeping the stadium for himself,
I didn’t read it like that. i thought it sounded more like he is prepared to accept a loss on the club to ensure it keeps the stadium but I could be wrong (with Ron I most probably am). He’s going to make enough money on the property development.
