Kacper Lopata

My point was about forcing an agenda…Elvis refusing to play and Kasper terminating his contract. Both smack of an arrogance, immaturity and poor advice.

Thinking Jack Payne, Kane Ferdinand, Dru Yearwood…all left too soon under **** agent advice!

Much prefer Bentley or Leonard’s approach!

Elvis never once refused to play.

Elvis turned down a new deal with us. The new deal he was offered was £1 more than his existing deal, he ensure we were eligible for compensation if he was to leave for another Club in the UK. We were prepared to negotiate, but Elvis point blank refused, and thought his agent had lined up a better move, which was going to be Leyton Orient.

However, they couldn’t agree compensation with us, as would have gone to a tribunal if we weren’t able to agree. Orient decided to sign another right back, and Elvis was left in limbo as no other Club was prepared to pay a fee for his services.

Once again, people who are comparing the Lopata situation to that of Elvis are incredibly mistaken. Elvis’s contract wasn’t breached in the same way as Lopata’s, albeit he was paid late on occasions. He never went down the same route that Lopata did.

Elvis saw out his contract, whereas Lopata got his ripped up.

Just a thought on footballers contracts, is there a clause that allows a club to tear up a contract if the player does not perform or is consistently injured?

I think Ron was considerably more responsible for that than Lopata was.

Of course Ron was, but Kacper could have achieved the same impact on Ron without impacting his fellow players and the fans he professed to love. He's young and apparently influenced by an unpleasant agent but that doesn't absolve him of responsibility. He has let himself down and soured the memories of the important role he played. He'll realise that one day, but it's likely to require some years as he slowly grows up. Sad.

Is there actually any real evidence of the malign influence of his agent? If something is repeated often enough it becomes accepted wisdom. Maybe someone 'in the know' might be able to throw some light on this. All i have seen on here are a couple of photos of the man and his car which some people didn't like.

Have been mulling this over and over. If Łopata, like a few of the other players, both currently and historically, have been living in Ron provided accommodation, has this made up a part of his salary? If so, unless he was evicted from said accommodation, he was partly paid, in some way, continually, until he himself broke the contract. Thoughts?

I’m not sure Ron provided the accommodation but being only partly paid is still a breach of contract from the club anyway.

check out his clients .. anyone you are impressed by ?

just go on the shabby website and look at the instagram updates ... the best one is from March 2022

the guy is a joke - not a single decent established pro ..

a small tragedy for a naive young footballer - he should get a decent agent who will nudge him up through the leagues and get him on big contracts - not a man who thinks doing the dirty on Sheffield United for a bung (prob unpaid) from RM is clever ..

Rehman is to agenting what RM is to football chairmen ..
