Feel like Cal had a lot of promise, if he wants to get back into the game proper I can see him making a good go of it with the right support. Looked like he had more to him than, say, Seaden.
Thanks mate, I did too. As a critical parent i used ti compare him against the other keepers he played against especially when it was the elite academies and he was never outshined. Unfortunately not everyone treated him right or gave him the chances or attention they gave another, that and other crap including dare I say it, bullying from a coach made him leave. This kid was 101% committed and dedicated and they took advantage. Worth listening to The Custard Splat podcast with Cal, from our chats he’ll be getting back into football once he’s finished Uni.

That's good news, I always thought he had potential - and, in all seriousness, if he fancies it, I am sure Simon Royce would be happy of a bit of relief between the sticks in our charity match for James Walker on 28th May!

@Suffolk Shrimper In Dorset maybe we could ask him to come to #AMatchforJames ?

I’ve just spoken to Cal and he said he’s back then and would be honoured to play if they needed a reserve keeper?? ( he was asked to play in another game when he’s away, I got confused) ☺️ he said you can message him on Twitter or if you can message me I can pass his number on.

Love that, thank you. Will speak to him on Twitter.
