Question Statue

Sid Broomfield
Dave Robinson

Ps IIRC Oliver Trigg was one of many founders. He was the landlord of the Boar where the meeting took place

Maybe not so much a statue, but maybe a long engraved plaque....of the players/managers faces then put onto a wall at RH.
Seen it done here in Germany
Start off with our first ever promotion team 71/72..King Billy, captain JJ, the Boss, etc
Also our promo team 77-78....but of course our championship winning team 1981,with the Boss and all our winning squad
I love this idea, with all the people ricey mentioned.

Failing that, Dave Morley.

Reason I raise this as well is because it could be the perfect time to get the ball rolling on this if roots hall is going to be redeveloped.
I’m sure the trust would be supportive of something like this! Only debate is who the statue should be of?
Totally agree, I think now the plan is to stay at Roots Hall it would be a great and easy first addition to the ground. Statues can be iconic and really give a club more character and shows their history.
