Maybe not so much a statue, but maybe a long engraved plaque....of the players/managers faces then put onto a wall at RH.

Reason I raise this as well is because it could be the perfect time to get the ball rolling on this if roots hall is going to be redeveloped.
I’m sure the trust would be supportive of something like this! Only debate is who the statue should be of?

Totally agree, I think now the plan is to stay at Roots Hall it would be a great and easy first addition to the ground. Statues can be iconic and really give a club more character and shows their history.

Agreed, if only for the fact that our home form in our Div 4 champions season 80-81 was superb. P23 W19 D4 L0.
In fact, since my 1st season at Roots Hall 67-68, that has been the only season we didn't lost a home game ( or 12! ).

Stan. I honestly think we might not have a club now if it wasn’t for Stan. Arguably our greatest ever player who saved us from relegation almost single handedly, and then probably saved us again, this time from extinction, a couple of years ago by forcing the club to change.
