Are you sure you put in tomorrows date? I've just done it on the Great Western site, and it says no later trains than 21.35, Stroud to Rochford.

Anyone going by train? My ol mucker, an old North Banker, has asked me to book him a return. Going out is fine, Rochford to Stroud, but coming back the same night could be a problem, with the last train now at 21.35.

It's the westcountry....we know you 'big city folk' are trouble so we are taking in all the roads and trains tracks and putting them in the big barn for safe keeping!

Whatever happened to the good old overnighters from Liverpool Street - around 1.30 and 3.30, I actually think it was 3.29! The latter was a killer - I think it stopped at every bloody station. Perhaps my old brain is foggy but I’m pretty sure you could still get a KFC and/or a Casey Burger for the latter, definitely for the former.

Got back to HK last night. I’ll be friggin around with the Firestick all day trying to get a stream working for a 2.45am KO. Then hopefully booking another return flight! But one game at a time.

I like to imagine there is a secret FGR fan forum that I'm not privy to as I'm not from nailsworth (I'm 10 mins drive away) but I dont think there is! They are trying to get new blood in with only charging £1 a game for under 11s so hopefully they can grow. Also with building a new stadium in the new 5 years right next to the motorway they can attract more fans. I only started supporting them end of last season (total glory supporter) as my 6 year old son wanted to go to see football in his words "in a proper stadium" but as we are so far from Southend I guess I had to settle for FGR.

take a tip from me and move your family to the Essex Riviera and support a real club.

years ago we used to catch what was called the milk train left livepool st at arouns 1.30 am . Doubt that runs any more .But you never know with great eastern trains .

I might be wrong but it looks like FGR ticket office may of cancelled without a refund some naughty Shrimper purchases in the home seated area. Two whole rows of seats on the far right side just came available to book again.
