Wembley tickets

This has now got me really stressed. I've shelled out 300€ on a flight from Toulouse for my daughter and I. Thought the complicated part was getting from Stansted to Wembley......and now this. At my age it could be my last chance to see us at a Wembley Final. I can't believe they can do this.

We need to set up something on here so people who have spare capacity in their STH's can buy tickets for people travelling over as part of their allocation.

Stan,

Any chance you can get this ticket fiasco out there in the public domain using your public profile.

This would be headline news if it were two Prem teams in this situation, I fully expect this to go unnoticed by mainstream media.

The powers that be need to be held to account on this, it's unaccpetable.

UTB!
What's the issue? Travel? Ticket numbers? Both?

We will have the same allocation, if we can get hold of 9000 coach seat spaces then we'll get 26.5k too I reckon.

Trouble is where do you source that sort of capacity with only a few days lead time.

It's an utter disgrace
Yeah, that’s why I deleted my post. It’s the same allocation.

I'm genuinely gutted about this, living up north having a season ticket isn't really possible.

I do manage to get to most of the northern away games and this season I've been bringing my 7yo and 9yo son and daughter. Both of whom love the atmosphere and tell their friends that they are Southend fans, quite often singing the Harry Taylor song at a tiny village primary school in north lincs.

Now it looks like I won't have the opportunity to take them to a Southend match at Wembley because of poor project planning from TFL and the National league.

What is the point in booking Wembley when less than half of it can be used?
I’m in the same boat as you pal , live in manchester

Are people serious? It HAS to be Wembley. The Millennium stadium just didn’t have the same gravitas, neither would Spurs, Arsenal or West Ham’s stadiums. No thank you!
Personally I’d rather be at a full house with total full on atmosphere and 60,000 fans

However I get it that for a non league player, and fans, the one off Wembley appearance would be magical

I don’t think they have. But it’s probably a reasonable assumption that more of their fans will either travel by car or coach, than get the train. Compared to us.
See GNH post above. It’s likely the same and just a sum of the 17500 plus a cap on potential coach numbers. Seems to be the same for both sides.

As a supporter since 1996 and having missed both the 2005 and 2015 finals through work commitments, I was absolutely teeming with excitement when we made the final this time knowing I could go. Attending the game on my own, I honestly couldn’t imagine there’d ever be any possibility I may not get a ticket in a 90,000 stadium. Mental

Ticket numbers limited to 17.5k non coach travel fans, you only get more if you book by coach and these numbers are likely to be limited due to the lead time!

Being punished due to the closure of the tube stations despite the fact other major events have taken place under worse circumstances.

All of this out of the control of the clubs and fans, which they obviously don't care about
