Was planning to come down from east sussex and bring my son who is just about old enough to enjoy his first ever southend game at the home of football, wembley.

Before the tfl and the nl sh at on it all.

Train from Rayleigh or Benfleet. There’s still a number of alternatives to get there. Still completely bemused by the whole situation.

I`m exiled in Southampton and will travel by car and have arranged parking 20 mins walk away from the ground. So, won`t have access to the first round of tickets to STH. I`m not sure it will make General sale come Sunday. How many times are we going to be shafted by the NL? The ticket allocations are a joke, just sell what both clubs want and let them get there themselves, not everyone will be using the tube stations. Luckily my parking is free, so if I don`t get tickets I`ve not forked out money for nothing. It`s going to penalise a lot of exiled Shrimpers that cannot have ST due to location, work commitments, etc...
Leyton Orient have sold over 30,000 for their game On Sunday. The NL have had it in for us for a while now, and so it continues. Gutted.

Train from Cumbria on Saturday, returning Monday. Hotel near Wembley booked for 2 nights.

So no need for a coach and no need for a train or tube on Sunday, I can just stroll five minutes to the stadium.

But now unlikley to get a ticket despite 63 years since attending my first Shrimpers match and following them ever since. £400 already spent...... non-refundable of course.

Leaving Toulouse airport with my daughter 8am sunday morning, arriving Stansted 8h55 GMT (Hopefully.......it is Ryanair!). Spent all Thursday morning planning a route to Wembley, avoiding the railworks........that may have been a waste of time, happily I hadn't booked train tickets! Would gladly pay extra to go on a supporters coach but couldn't guarantee getting a X30 before 10h05 and that wouldn't get to Kent Elms before 11h30.......I imagine the coaches would be gone by then?

My two grandsons and I will from driving up from deepest Sussex and pre booked Wembley parking.....if we can get tickets in the free for all tomorrow...If not then there's a car park space going begging....

I’m trying to decide whether I drive from Stalybridge to High Wycombe (or near ish) and get the train in from there.

The other option is to pre book the train from Manchester Piccadilly and then risk having to hang around at Euston if the game doesn’t go to extra time etc.

Final option is just to watch it on TV
