Driving down from Largs, North Ayrshire on Friday to son’s at Bedford and then 3 generations of Shrimpers driving from Bedford to Wembley on Sunday 💙
Then driving back home on Monday 😃

Consecutive weekends of 800 mile round trips as heading to Wembley tomorrow (as moral support only) with Orient supporting husband and other son ……..

Limoges airport Sat morning to Stansted. "Express" X30 bus to Sarfend, night in the city seeing family etc. Sunday train from Southend Central to Liverpool Street, tube to Marylebone then train to Wembley Stadium.

Return to Limoges from Stansted on Monday.

IF I CAN GET A TICKET!! My lad's going to the ground tomorrow to join the queue.....

Train from Cumbria on Saturday, returning Monday. Hotel near Wembley booked for 2 nights.

So no need for a coach and no need for a train or tube on Sunday, I can just stroll five minutes to the stadium.

But now unlikley to get a ticket despite 63 years since attending my first Shrimpers match and following them ever since. £400 already spent...... non-refundable of course.
I've purchased 4 tickets and will be using all 4 or you could have have had one of mine.
There must be a ST Zoner who won't be using all 4 ticket allocation that can purchase one for you?

I would recommend not going to the ground tomorrow and using the online ticket site. I can foresee a horrible situation where it sells out online whilst people queue. That'd be brutal.

I’m trying to decide whether I drive from Stalybridge to High Wycombe (or near ish) and get the train in from there.

The other option is to pre book the train from Manchester Piccadilly and then risk having to hang around at Euston if the game doesn’t go to extra time etc.

Final option is just to watch it
Stockport (Marple) to High Wycombe for us and then train in. Done it with City supporting mates including other week for FA Cup semi and spot on plus same for England. All depends on if tickets come good.

Don’t bother with train down as first train out of Stockport isn’t until 08:30 and they’re taking 4 hours due to engineering works!!

It's likely that the number of responses is now statistically significant - so we have at least 50%, maybe as high as 70%, where the coach just isn't really a feasible option.

It helps I'm in West London but what we are doing is going to South Ruislip station on the Central Line, a 2 mte. walk to the rail station & only go 2 stops to Wembley Stadium.

So if you want to miss the crowds at Marylebone you could jump on the Central Line (tubes terminating at West Ruislip) at Stratford/Liverpool Street or do West Ham/Mile End.

However, it will be up to a bum numbing hour on the tube so maybe not 😁

As for me my master plan depends on me getting a ticket tomorrow, so we will see 😳
