Jamel Campbell-Ryce

Tilly is a god to me, but just maybe he couldn't quite work out how to get the best out of JCR whereas perhaps Simon Davey has?

I think I'm right in saying that JCR largely plays on the left for Barnsley, which I believe is actually his preferred position. Perhaps that may be a reason he's been more productive for them.

There was a few boo's near me (not from me) when his name was read out on the team sheet, on his way down the tunnel after the warm up he still applauded the whole stadium.

Unfortunately JCR's shortcomings were exposed at Roots Hall and he was never going to have scale the heights with SUFC.

I think he'll fall short of his dream of playing in heights of the premiership. He'll need to grow as a player before a giant club will take him on.

what a shame.

The original James Walker - all fancy tricks, bit of pace, but no end product.
