Naturally he would be on the retained list, as he has a contract still, but it doesn't mean he is part of our plans, we may be looking to ship him out to other clubs, either on a free or for a nominal fee.

No shock really is it. The NL is hardly any different to L2 in terms of quality, anyone who shines is going to get interest from EFL clubs. Sadly I'd be amazed if Lopata doesn't also end up at a L1 club.
