Not exactly a stellar performance on a pitch which is flatter and which is offering less movement than first hoped. Big scores needed from Colly & Freddy...

Indeed - could be better, but I think that rain and bad light will come into play.

Will all come down to the last test IMHO.

Hopefully Freddie & Colly can put on a good partnership, with assistance from the tail as the last test. Think this one may be a draw, and all goes down to a bunsen at Mumbai next week.

Bit worried that Ali Cooks average is down to 90.50.

Day 2
200/5 Bad light and rain stopped play. With more rain forecast for Saturday & Sunday, seems likely this will be a draw, and all down to Mumbai next week.

Would have settled for this a week or so ago!

Fielding an entire XI seemed to be a feat in its self

Well, bloody disappointing result given where we'd got to about half way through the game. The second innings batting collapse was, alas, redolent of Pakistan - and it clearly wasn't a bad wicket, as Virender Sehwag promptly proved in the second innings.

Still, at least the Aussies lost, so it wasn't a complete terrible day's cricket...

No we can't, you wally. We've lost the second test which means that, at best, we can only level the three-Test series.

Never mind, eh?
