Jason Williams - surely at League 2 level if they aren't ready for the first team at 18/19 (like Ryan Leonard), they won't ever be ready and need binning off.
I think he is ready, he just needs to be given a chance.

We need at least 5 players to replace the quality Anthony Straker gave us.
...must be easily pleased.....that lot yesterday won't make play offsThe only must is another CB, apart from that I'd be pretty happy with the current squad going into the season.
Because he will be under strict orders from RM not to reveal the real state we are in behind the scenes probably.
That's more likely that I didn't fancy meeting up with you down a dark alley :winking:. It wouldn't have been a threat to you, more of a 'we have nothing in common, why would we wanna meet face to face'. Was it a PM or a post on here? I'd love to see it so I can understand what I actually put and in what context. Anyway off topic.
I think we just need to be patient and trust in Brown. If we were struggling under an embargo, we wouldn't have got Weston or been able to sign Barnard.

If PB can sign Worrall, Hoyte and Fagan, then put Cort on a pay as you play deal (if he's still got the legs) I would be very happy with the squad, and would be confident of a decent promotion push. I'm sure PB can rustle up a capable CB on loan for a few months until Cort is up to speed.
I could warm to this, but I'm not sure we would have the financial means to put those three on contracts.
No way, according to what PB has said. There again not everything he says comes to pass
I agree it's unlikely but I think Fagan and Cort will be with us for the season. I don't understand my logic for that statement, just a feeling in my water!!

Well, I'm 50% wrong already. If Fagan goes as well it proves I know sod all!

Has Cort been binned off then?

That's a nice touch by Cort. Does beg the question as to why he had a trial if he was retiring?
