5 Tracks that can only be enjoyed by ****s

I would say all Christmas songs except for Fairytale Of New York, but we have that thread every year so will save that for closer to December 25th :p

Instead I'd say -

74' 75 - The Connells
There She Goes - Sixpence None The Richer
Breakfast At Tiffany's - Deep Blue Something
I Believe In A Thing Called Love - The Darkness
The Riverboat Song - Ocean Colour Scene

Great shout. Possibly one of the most annoying sounding bands of the 21st century? Music for people who don't actually like music.

'Sway' by Ocean Colour Scene is a true baggy classic and is right up there with 'Bang' by Blur, 'Window Pane' by The Real People and 'Take Five' by Northside in my opinion.

My 5:
1) Robbie W*******- Angels (it bugs me that depsite despising this song ever since the first time I've heard it, I still know all the fluffy bunny words. How??? Plus whoever chooses this as their first wedding dance needs a slap)
2) Amy Winehouse - Rehab (yes we all know how ironic it is you're singing about it - StFU you minging old witch!!!)
3) Coldplay - Speed of Sound (if you listen really hard you can hear Chris Martin disappearing up his own ar5e!!!)
4) Snow Patrol - various (almost as if Coldplay aren't bad enough, we've now got previously credible bands thinking "I fancy a bit of that profit, we're going to sell out stupendously and become a Coldplay by numbers tribute act") - plus had to put this on for MK!
5) Mark Ronson - Valerie (not because it's Winemoose but because it's forever ruined an otherwise decent song)

I'd definitely agree with Valerie though, as with pretty much every Mark Ronson 're-working'. He just speeds up the drum-beat and puts brass over the top of every song he's covered and people think he's a musical genius. Why? His versions of 'Just' and 'Stop me if you think you've heard this one before' are abominations.

I think you are being a bit unfair.

Mark Ronson has two sisters, one who is a fashion designer and one who is singer/DJ.

Talent obviously runs in the family.

Either that or a desire to avoid doing anything meaningful and the good fortune to have wealthy and well connected parents.

Hey Chaps!

Grandma - St. Winifred's School Choir
Grandad - St. Winifred's School Choir
Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs - Brian & Michael
Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep - Middle of The Road
Body Talk - Imagination

All of the above are ****ing abominations and the only comfort they bring me is the fact that every single person involved with this **** will burn in hell.

Especially the Grandma. The wrinkled, senile old ****.

Kind Regards

Tarkers old chap, you know that I have an enormous amount of respect for your words of wisdom and your career as a bon vivant and raconteur, but you must be joking about 'Body Talk'. It's not 'Just an Illusion', but it is still superb.

I won't hear a bad word about 'Imagination'.

I think Didier Drogba models himself on their look.

I've been badly scarred by front man Leee John's disturbing dancing and hair. And what the **** is the extra 'e' for, Leeeee, EH? You SLAG? WHAT'S IT FOR?????

I've tried several things to help me - hypnotherapy, booze, drugs but none of them have worked.

The last time I heard it, I had to crawl into my panic room and have a significant 'fall of soot' into my underpants.

Kind Regards

7 Days - Craig David
Sussudio - Phil Collins
I Believe In A Thing Called Love - The Darkness
I Believe I Can Fly - R Kelly
I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - Aerosmith

There's a whole world of utter tripe "dance" songs that they play over and over and over at the gym - "Caramel Dancing", some Dutch neo-nazi looking bloke, Basshunter. Thank god for an Ipod.

7 Days isn't a bad song, especially considering it's Craig David!
I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing is probably 1 of the best songs ever in my opinon.
