Throghout history man has pushed the boundaries to achieve the impossible. In the last 100 years or so man has achieved powered flight, been able to talk across continents via the use of the telegraph, walked upon the moon, cured previously incurable diseases. Yet last night one man superceded all this, and other human endeavour by making himself look an even bigger **** than Michael Gove on Question Time. Step forward Will Self.

The over/under on how soon Self would use a word no-one else knows was 2.5 and it duly copped when his second word on the show was 'fungible'.

He's a right unfunny **** too.
