Ale and Cider feast in Rochford

That could be where The Big Shrimp was heading after I saw him at the shops near the airport. That was about 2pm so if he was going there you might have to wait til tomorrow for any update

Over flowing with shrimpers , just returned at 18:00, after enjoying an ale called blues country :D. Any one else been there ???

Our very own Hooly was instrumental in getting Blues Country Ale on tap at the Beer Festival. There are quite a few Zoners who belong to CAMRA and some work behind the bar throughout the beer festival.

I did wonder and a fine job his done (though i prefered Essex Beast im more a dark Ale chap ) . trolled for only £3 and a donation to fair haven . its on till 11pm this evening !!!

Popped along yesterday- enjoyed a bit of Blues Country and got involved with the Essex Beast as well (amongst various others). Good work by all concerned, and also gratifying to hear the occasional Southend chant rising up through the ether..

I used to do a lot of alfresco drinking around Rochford reservoir in my salad days.

Lots of nature to see around there.
