Just seen the first half of Toulouse against PSG on the box. Free-kick after about ten minutes ..........just passed to the right, where Bergougnoux (due to get his 1st international cap for France), totally unmarked, moved on goal and curled in a great shot from 20yds. Got a bit frustrated watching tfc try to go through the middle of a packed psg defense. Then, at last, they started to open it up wide and a back heel seemingly to no one, suddenly was pounced on by some one who arrived at the speed of grease lightening. It was one of the first times I had noticed Sissoko ............but not long after there was a great movement on the left, before Sissoko provided a great cross for Gignac to volley in. Just before the interval across from the right found that man Sissoko again, for him to put in a thunderbolt from just outside the box.....
......and this bloke is described as a defensive midfielder!!!........sign him up Tilly!!!!! tfc stuffing psg 3-0 at half-time.............great stuff!

Booooo, its all about Bordeaux!

We dealt with Bordeaux a couple of weeks ago!
Little disappointed that tfc just sat back for the first half of the second period..........and the inevitable happened. However, after having conceded one we at last started to come out again in order to exploit the spaces left.
First time we beat the offside trap Braaten (was he with Bolton?) failed to control the ball as he was one on one with goalkeeper. However, a few minutes later........identical position.......he rounded the goalkeeper and made it 4-1. Apparently Braaten is not only a pretty useful footballer but also quite a crooner.......his rendition of 'Strangers in the Night', is worth coming down to the Pyrénées to hear! All in all, pretty impressed with tfc.............and I'll even forgive them for obviously stealing 'Blue Voices' idea of handing out flags to the spectators ;) !!!
