Breaking News Barry Corr Speaks...

palexander

Life President
Similar to the Gilbert interview...

* Soon as he got call from Sturrock he wanted to come and was main attraction that PS was here.

* Financial situation could be seen as 'dodgy' but Sturrock assured him would all be ok and he trusted him and went ahead.

* Feels strong loyalty to PS.

* No injuries last season, feels he is over the worst and will cut the disciplinary problems out!

* Target is to 'win the league' (again, nice to hear this rather than 'hoping to do well' etc).

Not that exciting tbf...

Good to hear somebody else that wants to win the league, if you want it enough, you are half way there IMO.
The other half of doing is a lot harder though.
Good to see players are happy to be here.
Cheers for write up, as I am at work.

Nice use of bullet point formatting by the lad Corr.

Bodes well for the new season.

Frankly I'm disappointed that they are only joining because of Sturrock and not the glorious history of Southend United. This isn't Paul Sturrock FC, it's Big Roy FC.

Good luck to him, I say. Hope he can get his disciplinary record sorted.

I just hope we don't **** both of the new signings over, (because of the embargo) because for a change they want to be here.

Interesting choice of headline for the clip: "Corr Blimey".
A phrase that is used when you see something you don't want to/shouldn't have... ;)

Was it you that used to shout out from the South Upper ''OI, SHORTY''?
I think you'll find it was a much, much more encouraging comment of "GO ON SHORTY" as he waded through the knee high grass to take a goal kick.

You should know as you used to sit behind me didn't you?

Do you think calling him Shorty is what upset Discussing Millie? ;)

Discussing Millie? Are you talking about somebody who sat near me? or someone else?

Flavs could take it, and he certainly got enough stick, especially when he stood on his goal line for corners or got found out by his height.
Now Mildy on the other hand couldn't take it, even I was shocked when he told you and the rest of the South Upper to F.Off. Miserable git.

Half way there being having half a squad?

Well it's good to hear someone in our team hoping to look high and win the league. With that sort of team spirit if it spreads around the team, we can aim high, play well with good team chemistry. Lets just hope we can walk the walk. Have faith lads!

BARRY, JUST GET OUT MATE, YOU DON'T WANT TO INVOLVE YOURSELF, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS, BUT YOU WILL RUIN YOUR CAREER.

Just leave before we **** you over.

Thanks!
