Apart from Goal Keepers apparently. We had all the Bertie Big Bollox from them when they dropped into league 1, yep they went up to the Championship but they haven't done much since. Only massive in my book if they achieve their potential, and Leeds haven't in years.

ok but if you like a bet stick it leeds to go up .this is season they will get back in the top flight .

also took leeds 5 years to buy training ground back and nearly bought stadium back .massive bills have stopped leeds keeping their best players ..

all in place now to do well on and off the pitch

I think I will hang on to my money thanks. You obviously have an affinity with Leeds and good luck to you. Me? I think they a so-so championship side and Bentley could do far better than them.

I don't think so considering paul robinson is on his way back to leeds from Blackburn

paul robinson is going back to leeds that's true I doubt Bentley would go to a bottom half championship team at best

Bentley aint going to leeds as there signing paul robinson from Blackburn if he goes anywhere be a bigger club then leeds

robinson deal is confirmed

Mark, do you know if Paul Robinson is going to Leeds?

Going to Leeds with the toxic state of the club wouldn't be great.

QPR are going to sell Green to Chelsea apparently. Best of seeing if they make a move. Starting position, not too far to travel so can stay near family.

Christ. I'll have a **** load of whatever Mourinho's on please :stunned:

You cant blame the lad for wanting to do better. Ive resigned myself to seeing him leave this summer, will need the money for new player budget when we go up at Wembley !!
If you type Cellino Southend in a Twitter search, there is plenty of speculation, including a photo of him scouting at a match.

I think there is mileage in this rumour.

Probably smoking some green stuff!!

If Green does go, which wouldn't surprise me as they need a big shake up, then they have Alex McCarthy ready to step up who has experience at Premiership and Championship level and is only 25 years old.

They need a Goalie with Cech likely leaving. Also believe they need an English player for the quota.

True, but there's far better homegrown options than Green. Ben Foster, Kasper Schmeichel and John Ruddy I'd put ahead of Green. They could even consider giving someone like Jamal Blackman a proper role given the recent comments about Mourinho needing to bring more youth through.

Green would be going there to be a backup keeper. The others you mentioned are all good enough for the PL as a first choice keeper and so they're not going to go to Chelsea to get a relatively small wage (compared to a first choice keeper) and get splinters.

Yeah that's true actually. I'm sure Ross Turnbull and Mark Schwarzer would back you up on that one!

even when he was a lot less experienced-at Reading,McCarthy was preferred no.1 ,keeping a certain Federici on the bench.Only a club like QPR with Redknapp's collection of overpaid past-it's or never-weres would select Green over McCarthy.
