I am disgusted at all the people who booed him at the game yesterday. If you are one of those people you should hang your head in shame cause you really aren't football fans and a disgrace to the club! He never did anything wrong at the club, ok he didn't have a massive scoring start to his SUFC career but he was never given the real chance or oppertunity to prove himself. HARDLY WORTH BOOING! He left the club because he wasn't given a chance and he has done well at Swindon.

I was one of the few in the South Upper who stood up and applauded him. Disgraceful behaviour from our fans.

Dave Morley left Southend and when he came back we all cheered him? What did Paynter do wrong?

Would you boo Foran if he left and came back to the Hall?? Would you boo Kightly? He did **** all for us and has gone on to better things would he get a boo! NO HE Wouldn't! So why is Billy Paynter any different? Never said a bad word against the club.

I can't remember people cheering for Dave Morely either? Also I'm sure Dave Morley was booed when we played away at Macclesfield in the L2 promotion season.
