I loved both albums at the time and still dip into '30 Something' on occasion but 'The Bends' is one of my favourite albums of all time (I suppose I have to sit with Uncle Leo and MK in the uncool corner), so gets my vote.

I saw Carter a number of times mostly because the bands who they supported they then asked to support them and I was a fan of Senseless Things, Family Cat and Band of Holy Joy. I think I was always a bit put out that Carter were more successful than those three. They certainly soundtrack a period of time and were nice people and I do really like Bloodsport for All and their cover of Bedsitter so I'm going to even up the numbers and give them my vote.
