Boxing Day and nothing to do?

Anyone living in the Basildon Area and doesn't fancy a trip through the Dartford Crossing, to do battle against the boxing day traffic full of sales shoppers off to Lakeside and Bluewater, then there is a "quality" match at Gardeners Lane, the home of Basildon United. The Bees will take on the Mighty Bowers and Pitsea FC in the Essex Senior League. This is somewhat of a local derby, so tensions will be high (between the one man and his dog in the crowd).

Kick off is at 1pm and last time I went to watch the Bees, they were doing a discount for SUFC season ticket holders, which was £4 plus programme instead of a £5 and just the game.
