I do wish I could see Acquah in a sprint; not scoring; not looking dangerous; not tackling; heading or dribbling (lol) just running flat out.
Is he capable, or does he think that's the province of others?

I can think of a dozen National League centre backs better than him.

Honestly I’ve watched him 4 times now and haven’t seen him make one sprint in those 4 games , I’m genuinely baffled by his performance if he thinks that’s acceptable then just wow .
how his fellow team mates don’t rip him a new one I dont know .

Maybe, but I’ve seen nothing of him to convince me otherwise so far.

Yet Oxley’s the best paid keeper in L2 and 1 according to Ron, and Dieng and Lennon were bought as L1 players and are probably paid accordingly. What a joke...

Oxley’s contract expires this year. He won’t be with us after this season.

I remember the days when Dieng & Mantom were regularly labelled as the worst central midfield duo we’ve ever had... and now we look at Dieng as a reliable, experienced player. That’s how bad it is.

As for Lennon, I don’t know. Maybe he’ll come good, but by the looks of it, it won’t be with us

I just do not understand. There’s enough individual ability in that XI to be competing in League Two. Not to be running away with promotion, but at least to compete. So just what is wrong??? We’re genuinely more weak and gutless than last year, which surely should’ve been impossible.

Sorry Andy, nothing personal but you are deluded if you think we have enough ability in that team.
The warning signs were there in GAME 1 against Harrogate. Loads of excuses flying around then about Harrogate playing with abundant confidence and having had a proper pre-season blah blah. We looked absolute garbage then and with one or two minor exceptions nothing has changed.
If MM is as good as he reputably is, then it must mean the players just can't hack it. You can't polish a t..d and no amount of positive talk can change that. It might be that MM will go (maybe for his own sake), but this side needs major surgery in January, meaning a new heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, brain, in fact everything.
The key factor wil be how many points will the 22nd placed club have by then.

So many observations tonight, but none of them are new. It's like groundhog day! As a team, we can't defend, there's no creativity and absolutely nothing upfront. Does MM really think that lumping these aimless long balls up to Acquah will just magically start to work?? It's pathetic. I don't want to offend the bloke, but seriously, Hobson might be the worst player I've ever seen! He cannot pass the ball to save his life. We used to have a kid at school nicknamed 50p boots because we never knew where the ball would go. I think Hobson's stolen his boots! Acquah is a nice lad, but what does he bring? He has the attributes of a decent striker, but he doesn't use any of them. It seems a little unfair to name just two, because to be fair, with the exception of Olayinka, they're all embarrassing.

Aside from waving a magic wand, MM will never get these players to compete.

These players are simply out of their depth at this level. It genuinely doesn’t matter who’s in charge.

Hobson, Dieng, Goodship & Acquah are conference players at best.

Lennon, Oxley & ANG are reserve players at Lg2 level.

Elvis is woefully out of form, and seems to be drifting further away from being able to compete.

Olayinka, JD & Clifford are the only ones who are ok at this level.

JD is a shadow of his former self.
