Breaking Bad - US/Netflix pace discussion

Nearly finished series 3 and now I can say that whilst this programme can be great, it also has very, very dull episodes. I almost turned off "The Fly" episode (where they spend the entire episode trying to kill a fly, and Walt very nearly admits too....)

I've never been bored with a single episode of The Sopranos/Game Of Thrones/Mad Men and that's why (in my eyes) it'll never be a good as those shows.

The Fly is a great episode. Really crucial for the development of Jesse and Walt's relationship. Keep going. It's only when you continue that you realise how key some of the 'boring' moments are

The Fly is an awesome episode. One of my favourites. It definitely polarises opinion though.

We finished on Sunday night, both Mrs Drastic & me agree - best tv show ever. Brilliant ending....and the alternate ending was great too

Don't get me wrong, it's good - very good at times. But in my opinion I can't buy into the "best TV programme ever" shtick that seems to surround it.

Yeah but you don't like The Wire so your views are invalid!

I don't think BB is the best TV programme ever. It's quality though.

Only finished watching last week. Absolutely incredible show 10/10. Those last 5-6 episodes really were something else. I feel a big hole now I've finished watching.

errrmmmm? WHERE CAN I SEE THIS?

Started the final series.

  Spoiler:
The death of Gus was just brilliant. He walked out the room, adjusted his tie, and I though how the ****....then we see the OTHER side of his face....!

Started on 7th Jan, now up to series 5, ep 5. Almost there. This series is awesome!

P.s - Skyler is a b!tch

After a blitz last night, that's Breaking Bad done. Great few final episodes - even if some huge gaping plot holes opened up at the end. Overall, a very good programme indeed and well worth investing in if you've not seen it.

Breaking Bad, overall I give you 7.5/10
