A lot of negativity (or realism) on this game, perhaps an attempt at mass reverse psychology?

Either way I shall break the thread tradition and go for a 3-2 blues win (Cresswell, Tomlin, Timlin).

Agreed. Haven't been so convinced we're going to lose since we played Manchester United.

True!

Like most other people on here I can only feel a disappointing defeat coming here - without Assombalonga, Laird and Mkandawire we look a much poorer side and will be too weak for a decent Brentford outfit who have a long unbeaten record at home, the chance of a lucrative local derby and who owe us one for the JPT defeat and Corr's equaliser in the FA Cup.

3-0 defeat I'm afraid

Such pessimism! Come on guys, we played well against them in both the JPT and 3rd round match proper so why should we feel so gloomy about the replay? I'm going for a 3-2 win and I'd absolutely love it if Hurst got another "wonder" goal to shove in Rosler's face!

Agreed. Optimism is the way forward. Corr to bag another brace!

After going to Exeter and seeing how easily we where turned over and defensively looked weak, I am not confident. We have conceded 6 in 2 games! Haven't won a game outright since Boxing Day (Oxford being pens)! And haven't scored in 324 mins in league games!

All since Assombalonga has been injured!

However I'm looking forward to over 1000 fans packing the terrace and seating, getting some atmosphere going!

C'mon blue boys! Give me something to cheer after Saturday

I will be back from working in France today in time to hear the commentary. Its an omen I tell ya! The rab is back and the wins return.

I wonder if Barker could, as a stop-gap, play the Mkandawire role in front of the back four?

He has no pace now, but he does read the game pretty well and that would mean the pacier Prosser playing LB.

He hadnt scored for sometime before his injury and Corr has scored. That said who knows what losing the Britt/Tomling partnership has done to our play.

Mkandawire is far more significant, yet he wouldnt have played in the cup games which were the better results we have had.

Like you I dont see us winning, but hey if we go to pens we have plenty of experience

I think thats a massive gamble in such a big game. I personally think Cresswell would probably be better suited if we had to resort to something like that anyway.

I'm hoping we stick to round pegs in round holes though and would expect Dave Martin to come in with a midfield of Martin Timlin Woodyard Hurst.

What level of fitness is Ryan Leonard in currently? We could try him in the defensive midfield role?

Ticket now taken. Spare ticket for tonight @ Brentford. Hi - I bought two tickets for the game tonight but my fellow Shrimper cannot make it now. So I have 1 adult ticket spare - Seated - Block A Row F - seat 10 or 11. I'll be travelling up on the Travelzone ShrimperZone coach - getting on at Kent Elms 4:05pm. Anyone want the ticket - ask me for my mobile number and we can meet up somewhere before the match. UTB!

EASY!

Half the crowd leave just like that QPR LDV game a few years back apart from this time more will be leaving as they are at home.

Brentford are rubbish.
