I have been downloading and watching movies through utorrent on my pc and i have a fairly old p.c running xp and recently brought an external dvd writer for it.

I am not the most technically gifted , but i was wondering what programme i could use to burn files on to dvd and will they then play on my dvd player.

Ideally i would like a programme were i simply drag my downloaded file into a programme and burn.

Many thanks

Tom

(ps) I was using vista programme maker and got on with that ok (apart from it taking about 6 hours to burn)

Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009 Advanced. It's free..give it a Google!

I use the Vista DVD maker and it's fine, but like you say takes quite a while to encode.

Can't you just build a small bonfire and chuck them all on it.

I use VSO convertxtodvd and I'm very happy with it - give it a tumble. Not that I would ever condone downloading moody software, but you'll no doubt be able to locate a free copy via the very same utorrent where you're picking up the movies.
