I have had a horrendous last week at work. Yesterday was the worst day since joining the company. Today has not been much better. I will be here until 7ish. Why should I boycott the comfort of my armchair and dinner to bust a gut to get to Roots Hall and eat some chips and have a beer?

In other words what entices you to Roots Hall at the moment?

I'll start...

1)to support the players (cheer them on and hopefully this will encourage performance - but will my 1 extra voice make a difference?hmm....)...

Even though i cant be there once again.....

To see us wear purple

Your "1 extra voice" should make a difference to YOU. If you are a Southend United supporter then you owe it to yourself to go along and support YOUR team, sod the armchair, get down to the Hall and support YOUR team, when we win you will so much better within yourself, go for it, after the game you can go home, sit in your cosy armchair and enjoy a beer, content in the knowledge that it was YOUR voice that made the difference. UTB

Work can't be that bad if they let you sit on the internet.

My thoughts exactly as I typed that some smart tw*t would comment such a thing. I was not on the internet yesterday and today has been extremely limited. I also want a 5 min break from what I am doing!

Late in - straight to bed.
I'm content either way there or not if Southend win.
Work pays the bills - If I leave to get to the game I will have to be in early tomorrow.

To watch a brilliant game between two great footballing sides. It will be end to end stuff I guarantee.
