SUNDERLAND score in 28th minute of extra time, UNITED equalise in the 30th. Typical United. First Fergie time and now Moyes' Minutes. :nope:

3-3 AET. Penalties.

Good on Sunderland, hope it'll rekindle memories of 1973 for them....ok, different competition but still underdogs.

It does mean that The Black Cats will be in European thingy league next season too. Maybe the Mancs won't!

Manchester derby would have made a much better final, but always good to see United lose and to do so in such dramatic fashion is even better.

Only if they beat City.Beaten FA cup finalists make the Europa League if the teams that beats them has already qualified for Europe, does not apply in league cup

So Man United can only now qualify for Europe through the Premier League?? Winners of the CL don't get to defend their title if they don't qualify do they?

If Man Utd finish in top 4 they will be in next seasons Champions league,if they finish outside top 4 but win champions league they will defend their title next season and team who finishes 4th will drop into europa league.Fifth place in the prem is Europa league next season.

Yes they do, winners of the CL will get to defend their title if they get outside the top 4. Chelsea won it in 2011/12 but finished 6th, it meant Tottenham (finished 4th) didn't qualify and Chelsea did.

No they won't. Only if they beat City. Thats how Swansea qualified for Europe. I do however remember reading somewhere that Bradford's chairman said that if they beat Swansea in last year's final, he would have said NO to European football...
