Cardiff get final approval

Here's hoping somebody will point this out to Southend Council about the positive conclusions that the new stadium & more importantly from a Southend perspective the Retail Park can have on the local community & infrastructure!

Like the bursary idea for the Academy of Sport too.

but why do they want a new ground, they can't fill there current one?

It's called forward thinking.......
Cardiff (other than their 0-3 collapse at Stoke) last night look a good bet for the Premier. Therefore Ninian Park isn't suitable to allow them to compete (sound familiar?). A new stadium can help them achieve what Ridsdale wants to (not that I care at all for Cardiff City but here's hoping he's learnt from his Leeds & Barnsley dodgy dealings)

The more grounds getting agreed the better. With Col U and this one getting agreed hopefully it wont sound such a big deal when our council sit down to think about it.
