It's sad, but it could turn out to be a shrewd plan. Let's be real, Chelsea, Man U etc have 'supporters' all over the country. By doing this NTFC are making money that would otherwise go to JJB Sports, or JD. While at the same time, if anyone does go into the shop to buy premier league merchandise, they might be tempted to buy a match ticket.

All they are trying to do is tap into the market of Premiershite fans. It's a different way of doing it, but if it works..
