having watched them today on Tv it occurred to me that they have 2 or 3 players who individually cost more than the whole Arsenal starting 11. With the unlimited budget they should be winning every game by at least 4 goals.
It was also stated the Wright Phillips is happy to stay there which is surprising. Having ruined his england career by not playing, he must have pocketed 4 or 5 million quid and is still happy to be a sub and pick up his massive wages. Surely a player with his talent would want to be playing football every week.

money isn't anything... i think gradually abramovich is realising that you crowd out your youth at your own peril... they have some seriously seriously good young players but they are all out on loan and will probably get sold as they just won't get a look'in when they insist on buying "past their best" superstars like ballack and sheva... both class players but not for the future.

as for SWP, he can rot for all i care, seems so money driven it is unbelievable. what a wasted talent and when he came on today he looked a shadow of the player that was so good at man city...
