Breaking News Chris Wreh Signs

The only difference really is that Kelly had a good season last season. Before that no queue and no-one would have offered 40k. Thats the thing with forwards one great season at a decent level and their value rockets. Wreh is one season away from also being worth 100k plus. The art is to buy them immediately before that season not immediately after. If we had bought Kelly end of last season all the same tempering expectations comment would apply I think.
Great point.

Kelly scored 1 goal in 19 in 2020-21.
He scored 4 goals in 30 in 2019-20 and 6 goals in 2018-19.

We need to find the next breakout candidate.

Yeah I can’t disagree with that. It’s like hiring anyone professionally, the more experience and track record they have, the more money they cost to hire. But you do also get what you pay for. You might hire an absolute gem in a junior role who’s destined to be a CEO in 5 years time. Or you might end up with a lad fresh out of uni who just wants to get ****ed all the time.

If they’ve been there and done it then at least history says you should be able to rely on them.

I’m hopeful Wreh will hit the ground running, but I’d be happier if we had another option so he could be eased in gradually.

Knows the meaning of 'If you don't shoot you don't score', and that is our biggest problem, we pass too much when close to the goal, that was our main problem against Colchester.
At last someone to please David Crown- if you don’t by a ticket and all that..

Well I like the look of him goal wise. He seems very instinctive in knowing exactly where the goal is. Good luck to the lad especially if he has given up a full time job to concentrate on a football career, hope he does well for us........

I have faith that John and the three amigo's have done their homework.

Someone mentioned something to the effect of we don't have any squad players this season, and whoever that was I think Wreh probably is one. I don't think he'll be a first teamer right away but given time.

Sometimes I think Freddy was a gift and a cure. If you don't do as well as he did you quickly start to turn in to the villain or Goodship.
