Just wondering if anyone is into their classic cars and if anyone owns one? Just bought a 1973 MGB GT in British racing green. I love classics and gave been dying to own and over the moon with this one as I got it at a steal.

A few Elan S4 dropheads here. They seem to be increasing in value. It's the Alfa's, Fiat's and Lancia's that cost the money at the moment.
A nice 1975 GT or GT Veloce will set you back £25k or a 1964 Guilietta Sprint goes for £35k or an early Guilietta Spider can command over £40k

Yes - I have a 1965 Triumph Vitesse 1600 - bought in 1971 from a chap who lived near Fossetts Farm ! :cricko:
funnily enough, among the mgs and Austin healeys there is a bloke displaying his Mk 5 ford escort. A particularly bland vehicle in silver and batterred beyond belief. I am tempted to take loads of picd and as loads of questions about its history but i cant be arsedI have a Ford Orion 1.6 Ghia which I am currently restoring.

that's what i thought but he has all sorts of stuff about the car in the windows. On a different note there is a fantastic ginetta g12 here. Lovely. He probably just parked in the wrong car park

I had one of those briefly when I lived in Swansea. Green to the first person that guesses what happened to it!
Think there was a classic Fords meet around here today, saw a Granada Mk1, a Cortina Mk5, and a Capri. Now, I know what you're thinking with me being this close to Newport, but most the locals drive Nova SRs
You rolled it or knowing Swansea had it stolen.
two guesses admittedly, but yes. Swansea, the only place where someone would steal a 14 year old Ford Orion!
