Official Match Thread Colchester United v Southend United - Papa John’s EFL Trophy

The whole club has had its heart ripped out.
Is there anyone out there (maybe just JW) who understands what it means to play for Southend against Colchester?? I don't care if it's a dead effing rubber. We have put a reasonable number of first choice players out there and once again we are getting absolutely stuffed. This begins and ends with Ron's choices and decisions.
Again, I couldn't give a flying f**k about FF. What I care about is seeing my club becoming an embarrassment on and off the pitch.
Unless Ron's asset rich mates own Messi and Ronaldo we are toast.

No and nor should he. Molesley really isn’t the problem here
I would disagree with that.
He’s a part of it alongside the embargo, the lack of interest from the players, no money etc etc
But we shall see what a change of manager brings as there’s not a cat in hells chance this man will be in charge by Christmas, not unless RM brings in someone with experience to help

I really wanted MM to succeed.
Sounded like a good , progressive appointment and as far as I recall , many felt similar optimism.
I remember watching the Gillingham game and being quite impressed.
Sadly it’s gone horribly wrong.
Many many factors out of his control and against him , but still this has been a horror show and think he has to go now.
That said I don’t expect anyone to improve what we have.
Just feel sad
