To be a tad more general look at the last decade as a whole and I would wager it's the greatest decade in our clubs history.
Anyone else come up with a decade of such highs.....a couple of lows yes.
3 national cup finals
Five appearances in the play offs
Two play off final victories
League one title
League cup QF beating Man Utd on the way

Blimey

Drawing against a world class Chelsea side at Stamford Bridge
A fairly regular break through of decent youth players - Moussa, Ferdinand, O'Keefe (debatable), Bentley, Payne, T Smith

It's close very close. Being established in the 2nd tier for years was indeed a big achievement. No Wembley though....which personally was always ' the dream' for me just puts those days behind the last decade

But the reason there was no Wembley in the 1990's is because the playoffs never affected us, and we weren't able to enter the Football League Trophy, and the Anglo Italian Cup didn't last very long (although we got pretty close in that one). We only had the FA and League Cups, and we weren't ever going to make the final of them.
