Bad news, but not irreplaceable. I wish him all the best and thank him for the Wembley memories.

I dunno ! PB will have to strengthen for Div 1 and Bazza isn't at the prime of his career. Were we prepared to give him a 2 year deal ? Is he fully fit again ?

I wish BBBC all the very best in his new venture, though. A decent player that put in a good shift up front. Good luck Bazza

I'm gutted and the only way I'll be cheered up from this news is if we sign Pigott!

They offered him a 2 year deal according to their website. The echo said we offered him a 2 year deal too, but as far as the other details go we will be in the dark. Maybe Brown told him he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter or maybe Corr wanted a fresh challenge. Guess we will have to wait and see, but in the mean time good luck for next season Barry and thanks for the memories.

@CJPhillips1982: Ron Martin: "It's news to me that Barry Corr has joined Cambridge. He hasn't said anything to us about it at all. It's very disappointing,"

Not sure if he coulda done it in league two but a huge shame, a real cult hero, one of our talisman and our top scorer.

Hearing our feeble offer was blown out of the water by other interested clubs, why we let Corr, White and Timlin's contracts run down I'll never know

Ron Martin says it's the first he's heard of it according to Chris Phillips, Corr hadn't told the club anything according to him

This is the departure that has shocked me the most, thought he had said he wanted to sign a new deal, been very loyal to us in the past, and pretty unexpected. Gutted. Leaves us with no strikers as well.

Sweet I can add "Judas" to my repertoire of words to describe Bazza.

Onto the next target man. Life goes on.
