£18.29 a month? Seems cheap! I guess you don’t use much gas ..Monthly Gas bill just came through, £18.29. Something is telling me it will be 10 x that come the winter.

Has anyone hit the £100 limit the pay at pump petrol pumps pre authorise on your card?
I have had a £92 touch so far.
Mine maxed out at £100 yesterday and it didn't fill up completely!
Oil prices are now down below $100 a barrel but the prices at the pumps still goes up, no one will do anything to help ordinary people as the Gov are raking in the extra fuel duty + VAT.
Disgusting
It's the same ( £1.83p ) at Tesco Extra near Thames Drive!.I filled up yesterday at Asda Shoebury and it was 189.9p per litre. Today at the Esso garage towards Progress Rd I noticed it was 183.9p per litre.
Having just received my latest dual fuel bill from EON Next I'm £176 in credit. So do I build that up or claim it back? Price hike again in October suggests leave it be but it's earning EON interest instead of me. Decisions decisions.
I would leave as it isHaving just received my latest dual fuel bill from EON Next I'm £176 in credit. So do I build that up or claim it back? Price hike again in October suggests leave it be but it's earning EON interest instead of me. Decisions decisions.
Morrisons have increased the price of their frozen mozzarella sticks from £1.00 for 12 less than 2 months ago to now £1.49. And to top it off the pack I purchased only had 11 in it.The fruit pots I occasionally buy from Sansburys have increased from £2 to £2.20 and the M&S gastropub 2 Chicken Kyivs I occasionally treat myself to have risen from £8 to £10.
My 95 yr old father in law been in Australia for over a year, he uses E-ON for his electricity. I look after his Flat in Hadleigh, & obviously since he went there, i turned it off.Having just received my latest dual fuel bill from EON Next I'm £176 in credit. His D.D credit built up to around £300. Then when the mega price increase kicked in earlier this year, they estimated he'd use x amount of electric & increased his D.D to £63 monthly FFS!. I tried phoning them to explain the power is off so no electric is being used, might as well have spoken to a brick wall, totally useless.
I can't cancel his D.D as not authorised to do so, & at his age he doesn't use a laptop etc to contact them from Australia. If he ever returns back here ( i can't ever see it happening now, due to poor health etc ), he will have built up enough credit to pay his bill for evermore!.
