After 8 home games out of 8 last season it was always likely to be away first up this season and it's not one we can take lightly either against a team full of 5 figure wage players.

Franchise should win their first ever cup game!

Bugger. Ended up with a busy weekend and GFId a bot. Tough home draw next week. Looking at cup draw so have a few of us. Franchise have another bot next week

They batted first and got 303-6, we fell finished 15 runs short in reply for the loss of just 1 wicket.

Surprised and disappointed to come so close.

I got an away draw again in the second round, looks tough on paper.

Both teams safely through. Main team away to side ranked #762, will win but will have to PAN at least. Franchise at home to another BOT.

Struggled our way to a win with 2 overs to spare and 2nd on the ranklist for round two. As ORM said, a few of us near the top of the list. Should win but will have to GFI which is not ideal slap bang in the middle of two games against Akichita.

Franchise won their first cup game!

Franchise away to a bot but took 140K gate receipts. Nice. Main has a relatively tough game but chancing a PaN. Despite the fact I have 2 soon to be 3 bots in FC I want to promote in FC and OD which will be much easier with decent PFL. I can forego cup revenue and still add an experienced bowler later in the season to get me over the line if needed.

Just a warning. Time change cut over means Oz game commentary is 1 hour behind match scorecard. May be fixed for UK games.

Franchise will be out next week but no probs with that. See they haven't fixed 1 hour commentary lag and I'm determined not to look at scorecard.

Thought I was in trouble as my oppo were ticking along very nicely but we somehow restricted them to oly 20 runs off the last 10 overs. It's very bowler friendly but we should chase it despite an early loss.

ORM I did my best to hand you the game yesterday by playing neither of my new signings so two trainees were bowling! Had you won the toss I suspect you'd have won. My franchise lost their SZFL game after a had a batsman bowling. I really need to sort out my default orders!!

As for today I appear to be cruising thanks to opps screwing up bowler orders. I'll take that and a bot at home please.

30+ bot v bot games so a good chance. All the more annoying that I've had to GFI today! Will semi throw my FC game this week as I don't expect to be able to win, can then make sure I get a decent run of wins under my belt for my next batch of home games.
