Since that fateful day at the SZFC dawn to dusk football event when I realised what a bloater I'd become, I've been working hard at getting fit. I've also drawn some inspiration (from the likes of LDN Fatso on here who dragged himself round the BUPA 10k course recently and another friend who completed a 56 mile marathon in South Africa) and signed up to ride for the Dreams Come True Charity across Rajasthan in India later this year.

During the challenge, I’ll be cycling more than 400 kilometres over 5 days - that's London to Newcastle as the crow flies - on dirt tracks and off road, over mountainous terrain and across desert with average daytime temperatures up in the high 90s.

:scared:

Dreams Come True is an amazing organisation focused on lifting the spirits of seriously and terminally ill children by treating them to ‘once in a lifetime’ dream experiences. It's a charity that really makes a difference to the lives of suffering young kids in this country.

...and so I appeal to the good people of ShrimperZone. My goal is to raise £2,500 but anything you can donate by way of sponsorship will help make a major impression on a young child’s life.

To find out more, please visit this link.

Thank you.
Graeme

PS: Thanks again to those who have already sponsored me!

Blimey mate that's impressive. I'll deffo stick my hand in my pocket on payday.

Hey Chap,

If you like, I can lend you my re-inforced cycling pants. You'll need all the support and comfort you can get in those conditions.

They're made of lime green velvet and have rather attractive tassels. You'll look great.

A couple of things though - the gusset, quite frankly, is ruined and the pants in general are pretty badly soiled.

Anyway, if you're interested, PM me.

Kind Regards

Truly humbled, will whack some dosh to you.

Blimey mate, I know you've been told to get on your bike, but that's taking it to extremes.
Currently I have too much month & not enough money, but will donate on payday.

Good luck.

Only if you're sure Harry. Anything's appreciated but take care of everything else first!!
