Tilson planning for next season Southend manager Steve Tilson is planning for next season back in League One following their relegation, which was confirmed last weekend.
The Shrimpers boss told BBC Essex: "When you get relegated you've got to be careful or the following season it can slide away from you.
"I know what players we need, it's a question of whether we can get them.
"There are some big clubs in League One so it won't be easy but I'm looking forward to the challenge."

I seem to remember this line from somewhere else….

I guess going by what we signed last summer (Clarke apart) that this is a coded message that should read (In the vein of Donald Rumsfeld)

There are players that we would like to sign, there are players that we know we cant sign, there are players that we would like to be linked with but know we cannot afford. There are players we would like to sign but cannot afford their wages. There are players we would like to sign but don’t want to come to Southend. What we do know is there are players who we don’t want to sign, who are over priced and are obviously not good enough for us who we will undoubtedly sign.
