Essex of course!
Obviously the Sturrocks and Webbs, but how many Dad Manager and Kid Player pairings have been successful?

The Cloughs are the stand out answer. The Redknapps at Bournemouth. The Fergusons at Man Utd.

Johnson and his son at Bristol City.

Further afield Cryuffs and Maldinis.

.... and of course, the old joke Ron and Dalian Atkinson !

The Cloughs at Nottingham Forrest, and the Robsons for England?

I don't believe that any of late and wonderful Sir Bobby Robson's three sons played professional football at any decent level, let alone for England.

You're absolutely right. Not sure why I thought they were even related, must've been something that I heard years back, and just never checked up on.

Oh what might have been if Sturrock Jr wasn't injured.

Anyone else picturing the headline "Blair scores Wembley winner"?
