Update of the object of West Country (formerly Vange) Shrimper's affection / desire :

"Braintree Town’s excellent run continued with a 3-0 win at Cheshunt but, although the scoreline looks emphatic, things could have been different had Steve Obeng’s effort gone in at 0-0 instead of hitting the post and had Jackson Gash’s penalty been successful instead of being saved by Iron ‘keeper Danny Gay."

Source : The Non-League Daily

Braintree continue to chase Yeading for the Ryman League Premier Division title and move within four points of leaders. However their FA Cup exploits mean that Yeading have three games in hand over the Essex side. However Braintree seem certain to claim on of the four play-off spots.
