As I said a few posts ago - I think it's quite telling that David Jason actually used the word Pakastani not the other word.

Face facts, there are a large number of Muslims who have relocated to the UK who could find offense in a empty room if anybody dared speak out against their religion, no matter how minor or flippant the comment is.

I'm not talking about the kind of people that go out of their way to be insulted. I'm talking about the average, run of the mill person. If they tell me they're offended by something, who am I to tell them they shouldn't be?

Personally, I find a baying mob of Muslims intent on demonstrating at a homecoming parade for UK soldiers (whether or not you agree with the reasons behind them being deployed in the first place) a lot more offensive than a throwaway light-hearted comment from a man who comes from a generation of when racial tolerance wasn't as expected as it is now.

So do I, but that is a completely different discussion.

Two Pakistani's walking down the High street see a sign in a shop window, which reads ''Pay a tenner, and we'll turn you white'', "I'm having some of that" said the first ****(stani) to the second.
"ok" said the the second to the first "tell you what, I've got a twenty pound note, take it in there and if it's any good I'll get it done".
Half an hour later the first ****(stani) comes out white, so the second ****(stani) says "you look great howabout you give me the tenner so I can get done", "p!ss off ****(stani)" replied the 2nd.
