Deegan vs Stevenage

Sure he made a couple of unusually bad passes last night, but overall I thought he was his usual aggressive, dominant and reliable self..........blend of Kevin Mayher and Paul Clarke.
and a bit of David Bellamy.
Wished our Gary could sew the seeds of accurate passing. But there again, this is League Two

Think Deegan will get better as time goes on and hope he will be given a contract extension. He's more than just a beard and big thighs as some have suggested. He's like a lot of players at this level, not a complete player, a little one dimensional. However, brings something different to the pitch and has an impact on the opposition, a good ball winner and passer of the ball when he's on his game.

Deegan is essential when playing the 1 0 brand of football,he would not get a sniff in any attacking team.

That's probably fair comment, however, we want to win on Thursday so no place in the starting line up for me.

He will be ok if he plays from the start on Thursday .The only thing Phil brown has to install into not only Degan but BBBC is do not pick up silly yellows .You know this game is now an important cup final .And we can ill afford going in for rash tackles they cant win .Or getting involved as Corr did on sunday .Just don't give the ref any reason to shown any red cards .
