There is an old Match of the Day (I think) clip, poss from the sixties (in black n white anyway) which shows a burly copper laughing as he walks in front of the fans in a packed terrace (maybe liverpool or man u), its quite famous and gets played on occasion when show old footie clips.

If anyone knows what I mean a challenge - can you post the clip or a pic?

Reason being I always think that the copper looks like Spooner.

Should say looks like A Spooner - the family resemblance is uncanny :winking:
 
Blimey he done well to last this long, as someone whos all always thought of cops as being bullied children getting there own back on society i always liked Spooner having left the uk in 2003 i remember many moons before that being in a group of around 10 of us met by spooner at Halifax train station (i think), when a Yorkshire officer asked him if we were it, Spooner replied yep these are my boys lets find the pub........Top man.
