So although Phil would probably prefer to start the same eleven as Saturday, Demi is off on International duty so maybe John White to start at right back.

I'm not kidding, we are poor at the moment. Ferguson doesn't know how to turn around a bad run, happened twice. The first time we ended up getting relegated, the second time we missed out on the L2 title, when it needed two wins for us to claim it.

You play half decent, you will win. A lot of Rovers fans want to see Ferguson gone sooner rather than later, knowing he is not flexible with his team formation, he is a sticker for the diamond formation, even when it is not clearly working. He also plays the Kevin Keegan style of football, we will score one more than you. OK if your forwards are scoring, not OK when like our lot are firing blanks.

Doncaster away, one of the best games I’ve been to in terms of atmosphere and togetherness in the away end whilst being one of the worst in terms of the result. Ah memories.

Enough of that, we have a horrible record against them don’t we? We seem to be hitting form though so hopefully that can continue. Would like to see Ferdy rested though, he’s looked leggy last couple of games.

I remember the dark days when they were bottom of the conference and came to Roots Hall for an FA Cup tie. They won, but that's besides the point!

Thought things were looking up under Ferguson. Especially the 3-1 win at Blackburn, but a run of poor form since then.

Marquis always scores against us. I’d put money on him scoring at some point on Saturday. Given the two sides recent form we should be aiming to go there for the win. But there are no gimmes in this league so we’ll just have to see what happens.

I guess you're referring to Coppinger. Yes he is a real talent, even though his age is against him, he's still some player. He was unreal in that playoff match, although Flahavan getting lobbed on more than one occasion was too much to bare.
I still hang on to the premise that had Walker scored instead of hitting the bar, we would have won :winking:
