Drewe Broughton

It must have been a great night before you even got there if you think it was a pen!
I think I heard something on the radio saying that he had played 3 games in three days or something like that. Drewe.... you a ferking legend!

That didnt go to penalties?

The LDV area final against Colchester was a 4-3 aggregate win, Drewe scoring the winning goal just before half-time whilst Sam Stockley lay 'injured' in the penalty area to play him onside. He also scored at Layer Road in the first leg, netting before being sent off for a second bookable offence - that being to blast the ball into the away fans after being caught offside.

As luck would have it, the draw pitted us against the U's again the following season, with Drewe coming off the bench in extra time of a 1-1 draw, Blues ending the match with ten men as Mark Bentley was ridiculously sent off. Anway, Wayne Gray, Lewis Hunt and Kevin Maher all scored from the spot before Drewe stepped up to net the fourth and, after Wayne Brown had missed for the hosts (Darryl Flahavan celebrating as though he had saved it), Jimmy Corbett stepped up to strike home the winning penalty.

...and the missing info here is a cracking Tesfaye goal.
