Dru - how much ?

Anyone who was at Rochdale, would realise how much we miss Dru's energy in the centre. £200K is embarrassing - I wouldn't have even told them "no" I would have just laughed hysterically on the phone and then hung up!!!
definitely! i'd rather he stayed but 200k is a joke

As already well documented, I think Dru came back too soon from injury, too much expectation was placed on his young shoulders and he was perhaps trying too hard. He was part of an absolutely dire midfield and a team made up of inexperienced youngsters alongside under-performing senior players. Let's hope he gets to play alongside a dominant midfielder and a goal early on in the season will see him return to the player we know he is. He is well liked by supporters here and a move could see him become the next Jack Payne. I doubt he is on high wages and £200,000 is a joke offer, we should be looking to offload our higher paid players rather than parting with a promising youngster.

I’d say around 700-800 a week, with his money going up year after year as isn’t he on a 4 year deal with us ? Plus he’d be on win bonuses and appearance money.

Maybe we should throw in a goal bonus.

Chris Phillips said he is chasing up rumours we turned down a bid for Dru Yearwood from a Championship club. The rumour going around is Middlesbrough and Bristol City are leading the chase, with Middlesbrough putting in a 400K bid.

So, without Dru, our Centre midfield is Mantom, Dieng + Hyam... Cant pass, Cant tackle and Cant run....
Not a problem, Bishop is going in goal and Oxley will be a Beckenbauer style sweeper thus bypassing midfield and putting the ball right on the toes of Cox every time

Sounds like speculation aimed at driving his price up. IMHO we should take what we can get for a half season flash in the pan who has somehow attained the sort of status seasoned professionals take years to achieve. Let him go, please.

Good job we have Ron and not you in charge of sales then.

I look forward to Dru proving you totally wrong
