Anyone else think he was MOTM? I thought he played a blinder and was probably the best player on the pitch. Not only did he defend well, he came forward well and his cross field balls right to Gower's feet were just incredible.

Yes. Read the fbm view and ratings thread and you'll see I give him MOM.

Who cares how he played. Did he applaud the supporters at the end? if he didn't... transfer list the lazy ****.

All the player's came over and clapped us for a long time, whilst we were singing the glorious;

Southend, and we're proud of it!

You could tell the player's appreciated the cracking atmosphere we gave them. See what a good performance does to the fan's and vica versa.
The west ham fan's were shocked because
A) How well we played for a league two team placed 23rd
B) How we cheered and kept singing even though they had scored
C) The number's we brought hence their chant "Do you all go at home"
