Lords is my favourite stadium, with it’s atmosphere and history, always a great day (excluding rain).

I was at Headingley yesterday, it is a really good cricket venue and worth a visit. Great atmosphere generated by the Western Terrace and good modern facilities whilst still retaining the aura of years gone by. Similar to football grounds, I prefer redeveloped grounds in their original locations fully immersed in the local community rather than soulless out of town stadiums (eg. Rose Bowl).
 
Ridiculous that a sporting event as important to the English people as the Ashes is effectively decided by rain in Manchester (imagine that). They don't call the Superbowl a draw when it snows.
