England Cricket 2023

England 68 for 3 overnight
My son was a better wicketkeeper than him
At Lord's last night to see the girls victory. Great entertainment and atmosphere.
I was at Headingley yesterday, it is a really good cricket venue and worth a visit. Great atmosphere generated by the Western Terrace and good modern facilities whilst still retaining the aura of years gone by. Similar to football grounds, I prefer redeveloped grounds in their original locations fully immersed in the local community rather than soulless out of town stadiums (eg. Rose Bowl).
Ridiculous that a sporting event as important to the English people as the Ashes is effectively decided by rain in Manchester (imagine that). They don't call the Superbowl a draw when it snows.
