England in Sri Lanka and West Indies

A dog on the field stops play!!

Iv'e seen pigeons, seagulls, crows, i think even once a cat (or perhaps a young hungry baby fox)... but i can't remember a dog?

Anyone else?

There was a pig during The Ashes a few years back. Think it might have been 74-75 or the 86-87 tour.

I think it's fair to say Bairstow is pleased with that century!!

I think i remember years ago a cobra came onto the pitch during a game in India.

Well done Bairstow good knock. No.3 sorted now hopefully - just sort out the openers now and we have a solid team.

Was there?? Honestly.

Or was it just an over weight ozzie?

A snake, i can understand, no doubt he tampered with the ball.

But a pig?

Yep, it had all the mic drop stuff as well.

Fair angry old Jonny was!

I was at a 40 over match a couple of years back at The Oval between Surrey and Essex when play was stopped when a fox came onto the outfield.

In the end, they couldn't shift it so they carried on playing around it!

Bairstow out for a brave 110.

England are now on 262-5

If we can make somewhere between 380 and 420 all out.

I would be as happy as AndyT's video of a pig in shhhheieeet!!.

EDIT:

LOL...I managed to avoid the swear filter..

the word "shhhheieeet" has to come from the classic film Pulp Fiction.

Wasn’t that a squirrel?

Or is that a different match?

312-7 . Close of play.

I feel iv'e upped our batting game beyond my own expectations.

360, is more realistic now.

Just read Root has won the toss for the eighth time on the trot

Must be a record for test matches, amazing sequence
0.4% chance (235/1)

Given the amount of test matches that have been played I imagine other captains have had similar runs, but into 10 or 12 (0.024% or over 4000/1) matches seems very very unlikely.
